Founded in 1996, the Greater Houston Business & Ethics Roundtable (GHBER) is the oldest local ethics and compliance organization. I hope you will join or renew your membership in 2021 so that GHBER can continue to lead the discussion on ethics and compliance in Houston and help train the next generation of ethics and compliance professionals through our scholarship program.

Membership Fees

  • Corporate/Sponsor: $2,000 (USD)
  • Individual: $250 (USD)
  • Educator: $100 (USD)
  • Emeritus: $50 (USD)**
  • Student: FREE

Membership Levels 

GHBER offers four (4) membership levels. The membership period is for one (1) calendar year and is effective from January 1 - December 31st each year.

Corporate/Sponsor Membership:

$2,000 (USD) annual dues, includes unlimited associate members. Requires a primary member to manage the membership. No other meeting fees apply.   

Individual Membership:

$250 (USD) annual dues per person. No other meeting fees apply.

Educator Membership:

$100 (USD) annual dues per person. Reserved specifically for teachers/professors. No other meeting fees apply.

Emeritus Membership:

 Requires recognition of the Board for at least five (5) years of active participation - $50 (USD) dues per person. No other meeting fees apply.

Student Membership

FREE. Reserved specifically for students. Must be enrolled in a college/university.

Joining GHBER is easy!  

We welcome your support to promote ethics and compliance in our community.  Simply select the membership level desired and follow the prompts. Invoices will be generated for new applicants and may be paid online via PayPal or credit card.

Membership Policies and FAQs

Membership is open to any individual or group interested in business ethics and compliance, including public or private companies, compliance and ethics professionals, business partners, governmental bodies and non-profits, higher education faculty or students in the Greater Houston area.

Proration

If you are joining after the first month (January), dues are prorated on a monthly basis for the remainder of the year.

Renewals

Membership renewal occurs at least a month (30-45 days) prior to expiration of the current and active year.  Active members will receive a system-generated invoice to renew for the following year in late/mid-November.

Meeting Fees

Meeting fees do not apply for current and active GHBER members.  Non-members are charged a $75 fee for attending GHBER events, this fee may be paid online via PayPal or credit card.

Membership Changes

To update or change your membership level, simply log in to the system and update your preferences in your MEMBERSHIP PROFILE.  Invoices may be paid online via PayPal or credit card.

GHBER does not anticipate refusal of any membership applications or renewals, but does, however, reserve the right to refuse or suspend membership privileges. Such a decision will be based on a majority vote of the GHBER Board of Directors and the reasons for such decision will be provided.

Membership Profile

After you’ve joined GHBER, please take a moment to complete your profile for the Members Directory.  If you are a Corporate Bundle Member, please provide your company’s logo for our website, and maintain a listing of your group members.
